The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion - Kvatch

Fantasy game art from The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion.

Kvatch is a fortified city that sits high on a mountaintop, and provides the first experience of the "Oblivion Crisis" in the game: The very first gate to the hellish world of Oblivion is encountered here, and from survivor accounts, we understand that the otherworldly invaders use these gates to bring troops in. Kvatch is the first casualty in the invasion, the city is utterly destroyed, and the surrounding land turned into burnt and ashen waste.
The screenshots below are grouped into scenes from the city, and the Oblivion world beyond the burning gate that sits right outside the city main gate until it is closed by the player/hero.
We also present a brief movie clip of an Oblivion gate closing: By removing the Sigil Stone in the "Sigillum Sanguis" tower that is common to all Oblivion mini-worlds, the world collapses and the gate closes.
Detailed information on Kvatch can be found at the Unofficial Elder Scrolls Pages.

Normally, Titan Quest has only two hero models with no variation: Male and Female caucasian. The AllSkins mod is a free third-party mod that lets players choose from hundreds of fantasy "skins" for their character. Here are two basic Titan Quest models in their "underwear" (when a character is wearing no armour). Incidentally, it took two years before someone managed a game modification to remove the skirt . Here are two characters modified with the AllSkins mod (now included in the unofficial fan patch ). AllSkins Mod version 0.7

The Bard's Tale - Dun Ailinne Treasure Map

Fantasy art from The Bard's Tale fantasy role playing game. This cutscene features dialogue from the Houton blacksmith concerning his treasure map. Although the Bard being scammed is entirely in keeping with the overall tone of the game world, the treasure map was in fact a good one, as Dun Ailinne hides, among other things, the Golden Spyglass, which increases all future treasure finds by 10%.
