Spellforce 2 - Location - The Refuge in Godeland

Fantasy game art from Spellforce 2 , including the Shadow Wars and Dragon Storm expansions. The Refuge is the nesting place of the remaining dragons in the world of Eo, and is itself part of a place called "Godeland". When the protagonist first lands on this island, there is a reference to this being the place of the dwarven gods, so it may be that "Godeland" is an unintentional misspelling of "GodLand".

Spellforce 2 - Faction - Shaikan - Blades

Fantasy game art from Spellforce 2 , including the Shadow Wars and Dragon Storm expansions. The Blades are not a people--They have no souls, no dreams, no memory. The Blades are beings of metal created in mighty forges, and given life by the power of magical soul stones. But it is not a real life which the Blades lead, it is an existence which serves nothing but combat. The Blades are the perfect minions of war, mute, loyal, and absolutely deadly. Blades were also encountered in Spellforce: The Order of Dawn, but the game art was very different.

Spellforce 2 - Faction - Shaikan - Drakelings / Dragons

Fantasy game art from Spellforce 2 , including the Shadow Wars and Dragon Storm expansions. Also called the second people, Drakelings are the constant companions and protectors of the great old dragons. They do not possess the intelligence and wisdom of their larger brothers, but true dragon blood flows in their veins, granting them strength and willpower far beyond that of common animals. As loyal guardians, they will defend their blood brethren at any time with their deadly fangs and claws and the flames of their breath.

Spellforce 2 - Faction - Shaikan - Shaikan Humans

They are humans in whose veins the blood of dragons flows, containing the germ of life and granting them extraordinary powers. Under the dragon banner, they fight for their future, and even if they are few in number, every one of them is a master of the martial arts. In bits we learn the history of the Shaikan in Spellforce 2: Shadow Wars -- The alchemist Malacay created this race, and when it threatened to take over the world, the gods intervened. With his dying breath, Malacay escaped his soul into the dragon-blood of the Shaikan. Shaikan Human units are special in that they can have additional special abilities through 'training' buildings. Only new units receive training, and for each unit, only one type o...

Spellforce 2 - Faction - Realm - Humans

Fantasy game art from Spellforce 2 , including the Shadow Wars and Dragon Storm expansions. After the end of the Rune Wars that led to the final destruction of the Circle, for the first time order seemed to return to the old kingdoms. While the five royal lines still fight for power in Nortander, the human kingdom of Highmark in the South already has a new sovereign. Despite the harsh conditions after the Convocation, the new kingdom is thriving, but at the same time it has to defend its wealth against the Iron Storm Clans and the Dark Elves from Lar. Even with their proud castles and well-armed knights, the Highmark has to remind their allies of the old bond of the Peoples of the Light if it wants to stand fast against these enemies.
