Neverwinter Nights 2 - Moon Elf

Fantasy game art from Neverwinter Nights 2.

Moon elves are the most common sort of elves in Faerûn. Also called silver elves, they have fair skin (sometimes tinged with blue) and hair of silver-white, black, or blue. Their eyes are blue or green, with gold flecks. They are the elven subrace most tolerant of humankind, and most half-elves are descended from moon elves. In earlier games, generic elves had the characteristics of Moon Elves. Neverwinter Nights 2 was based on the 3rd Edition of Dungeons and Dragons, and elves were not yet linked to the Eladrin, which were introduced in the 4th Edition.

The Bard's Tale - Dun Ailinne Treasure Map

Fantasy art from The Bard's Tale fantasy role playing game. This cutscene features dialogue from the Houton blacksmith concerning his treasure map. Although the Bard being scammed is entirely in keeping with the overall tone of the game world, the treasure map was in fact a good one, as Dun Ailinne hides, among other things, the Golden Spyglass, which increases all future treasure finds by 10%.
