Sun Elves hail from Evermeet where non-elves are not allowed, and therefore are less common in Faerûn than moon elves. Also called gold elves, they have bronze skin, golden blond, copper, or black hair, and green or gold eyes. These are seen as the most civilized and haughty elves, preferring to remain separate from nonelven races. Most sun elves lead a life of study and contemplation, which serves to sharpen their minds, but leaves their bodies soft.

Neverwinter Nights 2 was based on the 3rd Edition of Dungeons and Dragons, and elves were not yet linked to the Eladrin, which were introduced in the 4th Edition.

The Bard's Tale - Dun Ailinne Treasure Map

Fantasy art from The Bard's Tale fantasy role playing game. This cutscene features dialogue from the Houton blacksmith concerning his treasure map. Although the Bard being scammed is entirely in keeping with the overall tone of the game world, the treasure map was in fact a good one, as Dun Ailinne hides, among other things, the Golden Spyglass, which increases all future treasure finds by 10%.
