Neverwinter Nights 2: Mask of the Betrayer - Companions

Fantasy game art from Neverwinter Nights 2.

Below are screenshots of the various unique companions that can accompany you during the Mask of the Betrayer campaign. One of the interesting features of Mask of the Betrayer is the ability to accidentally or deliberately kill your companions as a result of story-related events. Some, like Okku, do not initially appear to be companions who can join you.

The Neverwinter Nights 2 Wiki has extensive biographies of the companions, encompassing their roles and side stories in the original campaign (spoiler warning):

Here are two characters modified with the AllSkins mod (now included in the unofficial fan patch ). AllSkins Mod version 0.7

The Bard's Tale - Dun Ailinne Treasure Map

Fantasy art from The Bard's Tale fantasy role playing game. This cutscene features dialogue from the Houton blacksmith concerning his treasure map. Although the Bard being scammed is entirely in keeping with the overall tone of the game world, the treasure map was in fact a good one, as Dun Ailinne hides, among other things, the Golden Spyglass, which increases all future treasure finds by 10%.
