The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion - Imperial City - Prison and Secret Passage


Fantasy game art from The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. The Imperial Prison, secret passage, and incidental tunnels and caves are part of the tutorial quest "Escape from Prison".



Oblivion adds a lot of ambient light to underground locations where the would reasonably not be any. While this is a great convenience for gameplay and to keep the action going, it is also rather unrealistic. There are various mods that remove these additional lights or dim existing ones. The slideshow on this page has Oblivion in normal lighting and screenshots at the end where the same location is shown with the Darker Dungeons and Nights Mod Pack.

The Bard's Tale - Dun Ailinne Treasure Map

Fantasy art from The Bard's Tale fantasy role playing game. This cutscene features dialogue from the Houton blacksmith concerning his treasure map. Although the Bard being scammed is entirely in keeping with the overall tone of the game world, the treasure map was in fact a good one, as Dun Ailinne hides, among other things, the Golden Spyglass, which increases all future treasure finds by 10%.
