The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion - The Shivering Isles - Knotty Bramble

Fantasy game art from The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion.

Knotty Bramble is one of the many subterranean lairs dug out between the massive roots of the fungi that grow almost everywhere on the Shivering Isles. All of the caves in the Shivering Isles generally use the same tileset / fantasy art and are typically accessed from aboveground from a doorway nestled in between the roots of a massive stump. Knotty Bramble is distinguished from the other caves by the Grummite Hatchery--a large pool with many grummite eggs.

The Bard's Tale - Dun Ailinne Treasure Map

Fantasy art from The Bard's Tale fantasy role playing game. This cutscene features dialogue from the Houton blacksmith concerning his treasure map. Although the Bard being scammed is entirely in keeping with the overall tone of the game world, the treasure map was in fact a good one, as Dun Ailinne hides, among other things, the Golden Spyglass, which increases all future treasure finds by 10%.
