The Light Iron Shield is obviously not made of chainmail. It is generally considered part of the chainmail set because of its relative usefulness falling in between the Leather Shield and Mithril Shields, just like the other pieces of Chainmail compared to corresponding Leather and Mithril pieces.

The Bard's Tale - Dun Ailinne Treasure Map

Fantasy art from The Bard's Tale fantasy role playing game. This cutscene features dialogue from the Houton blacksmith concerning his treasure map.
