The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion - Imperial Legion Armour

Fantasy game art from The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion.

Imperial Legion armour is worn by the guards in the Imperial City and those patrolling the main roads. Mounted legionnaires do not wear the Imperial Horseman Helmet -- it is instead worn by guards with assigned posts in the Imperial City. City guards of other cities have their own uniforms. There are very few female guards and possibly for that reason no female version of the armour except through third-party mods. Imperial City Watch Captains and the Palace Guards have their own armour.

In the screenshots below, the female version is from a mod, but shows the original rusty brown colour of the armour. The male version uses a black armour mod.

Titan Quest - Alternate Hero Skins (AllSkins Mod)

Fantasy game art from Titan Quest . An art book, The Art of Titan Quest , is also available. This post showcases the AllSkins mod (now included in the unofficial fan patch ). Normally, Titan Quest has only two hero models with no variation: Male and Female caucasian. The AllSkins mod is a free third-party mod that lets players choose from hundreds of fantasy "skins" for their character. Here are two basic Titan Quest models in their "underwear" (when a character is wearing no armour). Incidentally, it took two years before someone managed a game modification to remove the skirt . Here are two characters modified with the AllSkins mod (now included in the unofficial fan patch ). AllSkins Mod version 0.7

The Bard's Tale - Dun Ailinne Treasure Map

Fantasy art from The Bard's Tale fantasy role playing game. This cutscene features dialogue from the Houton blacksmith concerning his treasure map. Although the Bard being scammed is entirely in keeping with the overall tone of the game world, the treasure map was in fact a good one, as Dun Ailinne hides, among other things, the Golden Spyglass, which increases all future treasure finds by 10%.
