The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion - Leather Armour

Fantasy game art from The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion.

There are two slight variations on Leather Armour. First, instead of the usual gloves, a character may instead wear a pair of thick bracers. Because they occupy the same location on the model, and each location can only have one item, it is not possible to combine them. Leather Bracers are not commonly available, and only very few characters in the game wear them.

Second, in one of the non-essential quests, "An Unexpected Voyage", the villains who have organized themselves as the "Blackwater Brigands" wear leather armour with a ship stamped into the front and back of the cuirass / body piece.

The Leather Shield is in a very different colour and style from the rest of the leather armour ensemble, and stylistically looks like it should be a part of the Pit Armour set.

Fantasy game art from Titan Quest . An art book, The Art of Titan Quest , is also available. This post showcases the AllSkins mod (now included in the unofficial fan patch ). Normally, Titan Quest has only two hero models with no variation: Male and Female caucasian. The AllSkins mod is a free third-party mod that lets players choose from hundreds of fantasy "skins" for their character. Here are two basic Titan Quest models in their "underwear" (when a character is wearing no armour). Incidentally, it took two years before someone managed a game modification to remove the skirt . Here are two characters modified with the AllSkins mod (now included in the unofficial fan patch ). AllSkins Mod version 0.7

The Bard's Tale - Dun Ailinne Treasure Map

Fantasy art from The Bard's Tale fantasy role playing game. This cutscene features dialogue from the Houton blacksmith concerning his treasure map. Although the Bard being scammed is entirely in keeping with the overall tone of the game world, the treasure map was in fact a good one, as Dun Ailinne hides, among other things, the Golden Spyglass, which increases all future treasure finds by 10%.
