As the game progresses, the protagonist updates an in-game diary/journal which includes the various tasks / minigames that need to be completed. Often, enough of a hint is in the minigame to provide the necessary solution. More comprehensive solutions can be found in the Strategy Guide.

The Bard's Tale - Dun Ailinne Treasure Map

Fantasy art from The Bard's Tale fantasy role playing game. This cutscene features dialogue from the Houton blacksmith concerning his treasure map. Although the Bard being scammed is entirely in keeping with the overall tone of the game world, the treasure map was in fact a good one, as Dun Ailinne hides, among other things, the Golden Spyglass, which increases all future treasure finds by 10%.
