During the missions in Marvel Ultimate Alliance, the superheroes have the opportunity to perform optional good deeds, and must choose between saving Jean Grey or Nightcrawler in Mephisto's Realm. After the ending in Act 5, Uatu shows the superheroes a glimpse of the future that their actions -- or inaction -- have set in motion. But even these are not set in stone, as he says their future choices can still affect the outcome.
