Dark Messiah of Might and Magic - Chapter 9 - City of Flames

Dark Messiah of Might & Magic concludes the epic story laid out in Heroes of Might and Magic V, but as a 3D first-person role-playing game instead of a turn-based strategy game.

Two female characters follow the protagonist / player Sareth for most of the game: Menelag's niece Leanna, who is supposedly important to the Dark Messiah prophecy; and Xana, a demon of some sort that Sareth's mentor Phenrig arranges to possess Sareth (at the end of the Prologue) to be a sort of portable advisor.
In Chapter 9, it is possible to exorcise Xana by bathing in the Sanctuary of Ylath in the city of Stonehelm. The "Isabel" mentioned by the disembodied voice is Queen Isabel from Heroes of Might and Magic V. Although she was rescued by mighty heroes at the conclusion of the campaign in that game, the Demon Sovereign had already sired a child with her. That child is the protagonist Sareth in Dark Messiah of Might and Magic.
