The Lord of the Rings: Battle for Middle Earth - Evil Campaign - Mordor Missions

Fantasy artwork from The Lord of the Rings: Battle for Middle Earth real-time strategy game.

These Evil Campaigns are based on the novel, and closely follows the Peter Jackson movie version (e.g., the Uruk-Hai Lurtz, who does not appear in the novels), but the actual outcome of key events are tilted toward Good or Evil. In the case of the Evil Campaign, the sequence of events is entirely speculative, where the forces of Light win no key battles and the Ring is recovered at Shelob's Lair. Heroes are defeated time and again, but for plot or game challenge reasons resurface later. The campaign ultimately ends with a successful siege of Minas Tirith.

Here are two characters modified with the AllSkins mod (now included in the unofficial fan patch ). AllSkins Mod version 0.7

The Bard's Tale - Dun Ailinne Treasure Map

Fantasy art from The Bard's Tale fantasy role playing game. This cutscene features dialogue from the Houton blacksmith concerning his treasure map. Although the Bard being scammed is entirely in keeping with the overall tone of the game world, the treasure map was in fact a good one, as Dun Ailinne hides, among other things, the Golden Spyglass, which increases all future treasure finds by 10%.
