The Lord of the Rings: Battle for Middle Earth - Good Campaign - Fellowship and Rohan Missions

Fantasy artwork from The Lord of the Rings: Battle for Middle Earth real-time strategy game.

These Good Campaigns are based on the novel, and closely follow the Peter Jackson movie version (e.g., special "berserker" uruk-hai scale the siege ladders first at Helm's Deep), but the actual outcome of key events are tilted toward Good or Evil, depending on the campaign. For example, Boromir dies at Amon Hen in the novel, but in the Good Campaign it is possible to rescue him and defeat all the uruk-hai.

Here are two characters modified with the AllSkins mod (now included in the unofficial fan patch ). AllSkins Mod version 0.7

The Bard's Tale - Dun Ailinne Treasure Map

Fantasy art from The Bard's Tale fantasy role playing game. This cutscene features dialogue from the Houton blacksmith concerning his treasure map. Although the Bard being scammed is entirely in keeping with the overall tone of the game world, the treasure map was in fact a good one, as Dun Ailinne hides, among other things, the Golden Spyglass, which increases all future treasure finds by 10%.
