The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion - Imperial City Watch Captain Armour

Fantasy game art from The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion.

The models in this armour set are recognizably re-textured/recoloured and reused in several other suits: The very similar Imperial City Palace Guard (cuirass design changed), the Imperial Dragon Armour, the armour of Tiber Septim, and the Emperor's armour worn by Martin Septim. There is no female version except through a third-party mod.

Although there is a matching shield to go with the set, the Watch Captains in the game do not use them because they are all assigned two-handed Silver Weapons. The Palace Guard does, however, carry this shield.

Fantasy game art from Titan Quest . An art book, The Art of Titan Quest , is also available. This post showcases the AllSkins mod (now included in the unofficial fan patch ). Normally, Titan Quest has only two hero models with no variation: Male and Female caucasian. The AllSkins mod is a free third-party mod that lets players choose from hundreds of fantasy "skins" for their character. Here are two basic Titan Quest models in their "underwear" (when a character is wearing no armour). Incidentally, it took two years before someone managed a game modification to remove the skirt . Here are two characters modified with the AllSkins mod (now included in the unofficial fan patch ). AllSkins Mod version 0.7

The Bard's Tale - Dun Ailinne Treasure Map

Fantasy art from The Bard's Tale fantasy role playing game. This cutscene features dialogue from the Houton blacksmith concerning his treasure map. Although the Bard being scammed is entirely in keeping with the overall tone of the game world, the treasure map was in fact a good one, as Dun Ailinne hides, among other things, the Golden Spyglass, which increases all future treasure finds by 10%.
