One Channel Closed

Hello Everyone!

Thank you for following Game Art Archive! As you may know, we have been publishing thrice every weekday to clear most of our backlog of material, accumulated while we were http://fantasy-art-and-portraits.com.

With much of this material published, we are closing one of the channels, and therefore will publish only twice every weekday. As more Second Life photographers join, we will immediately publish their portfolios, so you may occasionally see a third post during the day.

In early January we will close another channel and publish only once a day.

Thank you for following this blog, and we hope you will continue to enjoy our archive of video game artwork, especially in the current era of fast-paced internet downloadables where games have a very short lifespan and the artwork becomes quickly lost to the ages.

Titan Quest - Alternate Hero Skins (AllSkins Mod)

Fantasy game art from Titan Quest . An art book, The Art of Titan Quest , is also available. This post showcases the AllSkins mod (now included in the unofficial fan patch ). Normally, Titan Quest has only two hero models with no variation: Male and Female caucasian. The AllSkins mod is a free third-party mod that lets players choose from hundreds of fantasy "skins" for their character. Here are two basic Titan Quest models in their "underwear" (when a character is wearing no armour). Incidentally, it took two years before someone managed a game modification to remove the skirt . Here are two characters modified with the AllSkins mod (now included in the unofficial fan patch ). AllSkins Mod version 0.7

The Bard's Tale - Dun Ailinne Treasure Map

Fantasy art from The Bard's Tale fantasy role playing game. This cutscene features dialogue from the Houton blacksmith concerning his treasure map. Although the Bard being scammed is entirely in keeping with the overall tone of the game world, the treasure map was in fact a good one, as Dun Ailinne hides, among other things, the Golden Spyglass, which increases all future treasure finds by 10%.
