Pirate Island is a match-3 game in a Pirates of the Caribbean style setting, with stereotyped pirates, ships, and ports, and an element of magic. The fantasy artwork is mostly in the background and characters, which we present here uncluttered by the game interface. Pirate Island was given away FREE by SandLot Games in the week of December 7th, 2009. SandlotGames was subsequently acquired by Digital Chocolate, and the game is not available from Digital Chocolate. |
Fantasy game art from Throne of Olympus . Heracles is the only hero/demi-god who appears in the game. The other opponents of Athena are the main pantheon of the Greek gods: Aphrodite, Apollo, Ares, Artemis, Demeter, Dionysus, Hades, Hapheastus, Hera, Hermes, and Poseidon. Zeus only makes an appearance during the story slides. In general, the artwork for the gods and heroes do not feature most of the iconic elements of a particular character: Poseidon, for example, lacks his signature trident.
