Dungeon Siege II - Boss - Knotted Shambler

Fantasy game art from Dungeon Siege II.

Vai'kesh (dark elf) experiments with the dark magics of the Aegis of Death formed many new and horrible creatures. Their greatest crime, though, was stealing the very life essence of the Vai'lutra Forest itself to create one creature more powerful than the rest: the Knotted Shambler.
Formed from the very trees themselves, the Shambler is still deeply connected to nature and the life of the forest. As a result, the Shambler uses the power of nature to protect and hide itself, covering itself in leaves that make it impenetrable to attack. Even the Vai'kesh Prophet is reluctant to enter the areas the Shambler is known to haunt.

Here are two characters modified with the AllSkins mod (now included in the unofficial fan patch ). AllSkins Mod version 0.7

The Bard's Tale - Dun Ailinne Treasure Map

Fantasy art from The Bard's Tale fantasy role playing game. This cutscene features dialogue from the Houton blacksmith concerning his treasure map. Although the Bard being scammed is entirely in keeping with the overall tone of the game world, the treasure map was in fact a good one, as Dun Ailinne hides, among other things, the Golden Spyglass, which increases all future treasure finds by 10%.
